Wayne County Recycling Team 

Formed in 2008 by Ray and Allyson Leisy the Wayne County Recycling Team does just that - we recycle!  But it is during the Wayne County Fair that  we try to Recycle as much as we can and compost food waste from the concession vendors! As of 2025, we have recycled over 123 TONS of materials - and kept these out the landfill! We are a team of dedicated volunteers, teachers, FFA students and caring individuals that work together to help keep our community "GREEN".  Over the years, we have expanded to 75 recycling recetacles, 12 cardboard collection totes - totalling over 87 outlets for the public during the fair.
